Thanks for all of the comments on yesterday's pic! It was a last-minute inspiration, so I'm really glad it worked out :o) I did try to get the shot with a little speed (I know, bad!), but it was too blurry, so the final was taken in the garage, through the steering wheel.

Ellijay, GA - the local barbecue joint - the story goes that Col. Poole wasn't allowed to advertise with billboards since he was located on a federal highway, so he started putting plywood cutouts of pigs with customers' names on them on the hill behind the restaurant - he was also heavy into politics, so there are pigs up there for a lot of Georgia politicians and other notables including Louis Grizzard. Good barbecue too :o)

Blue Ridge, GA

Took a day trip to Blue Ridge, GA today and while waiting for the scenic tour train, came across this bust at an antique mall, it was too interesting to resist.
